California Adventure and unused WDW hoppers

I heard that you can use unused WDW hopper days at DL. Is this also true for California Adventure Park?

We did this last year. What you do is get in line and give them your tickets. The someone takes them away for 5 minutes or so and brings you them back including a new ticket for that day.
I have to say that I kind of regret using them since they are so much more expensive then DL tickets. But it's what we had and the trip was spur of the moment and we didn't want to go in debt for the trip.

I have 6 plus 3 WDW hoppers that have 3 day plus 2 left on them....

I want to go to DL/CA for 2 days.....

SO I give them my WDW hoppers and ask for 2 days...they take them away and bring me back my 2 days for DL/CA and return my WDW hoppers with 1 day plus 2 left on them???

Nope! Each day you take your WDW tickets and give them to the people at the gate they will bring you back your WDW ticktes and also a new ticket for that day. Then the next day you will have to do the same thing. (The reason they give you a new ticket for that day is so that you can re-enter the parks and use the fast pass.)
Each day that we used them the person taking care of us would tell us how many days were left on our tickets after that days use.
