We have reservations for 9pm one night- will they let us see fireworks before our dinner from there?

Yes, and it is a great view! You can watch from your table or you can go outside onto the deck on the roof. Enjoy!

They will let you up early if you have an ADR. But we usually just watch the fireworks DURING dinner.

We had res for 9; fireworks started at 9. We were shown to our table; our waiter took our drink orders and then headed us to the obs deck for the fireworks. When they were over, our drinks were immediately brought and he was there with the menu. It was great.

Ooohh...this is good news...I was wondering the same thing. We have ADRs for the first time at California Grill on our arrival night for 9pm and i was wondering the same thing! Good to know!

We just got back and had dinner there on 10/30 to see the MNSSHP fireworks, which started at 9:30.
Our reservation was for 8:50, we were 15minutes early and were told that they were running 20-25 minutes behind from the reservation time. So I'm thinking that no one is going to leave a table after ~9:15 so we might not be seated until after the fireworks. We were told to go on up and have a drink and we'd be called. Anyway I didn't have time to place an order at the bar before we were called. We already had our first course and our dinners were just about to arrive as the fireworks started.

Long story short, yes they will let you up and it doesn't hurt to be early.

It is a great show. It is kind of amazing to look down at the castle.
Enjoy!
Jeff.

Hello again
Sorry I did not put this in the first question but our reservation is for 9pm and the fireworks are at 8pm that night- Nov 6th. Will they let us go to up to the observation deck at 7:50 if we then go to the lounge etc until they seat us after firworks?
Do you have to take a special elevator- sorry newbie to CG

You will have to check in on the 2nd floor and take the 'express' elevator to CG. You should have no problem going up early and watching the fireworks from the observation deck or from the bar.

That's what we often do-go up early for a drink before dinner. BUT--don't be suprised to find that there are NO seats at the bar, or in the tiny lounge. Last 3 times we've had to find a couple of unattended chairs and prop ourselves along a back wall.

And you really can't see the fireworks well from either the bar or lounge, so you'll need to go out on the deck.
