Cali Grill with *very* picky eaters?

How is California Grill at providing meals for very picky eaters? Can you just pay for their food OOP (Say if they only get a flatbread or something, so as to not waste 2 dining credits on that) and use two credits towards another meal, if you are paying cash for part of that other meal as well? I hope you can get what i mean. What does anyone else do when dining with picky eaters. TIA!

Just tell the server that you would like to pay for certain items oop and they will take care of that for you. That way you can save the dining credits for another meal.
