Cali Grill- Late-Night Reservation just for drinks?

I love the atmosphere of Cali Grill but the food is underwhelming to me and I hate to spend 2 credits on a restaurant that I don't care for the food. Would it be ok to make a reservation just for drinks and possibly dessert? Going with my hubby and would like to watch the fireworks while enjoying an after-dinner drink together! Has anyone done this? Or are you required to get food if you book a reservation? Or is there a bar area that you could go sit down at, get a drink and watch the fireworks and not make a reservation?

They do have a bar and lounge. You can sit there, order drinks or anything from the menu, without a reservation. But if you go too close to fireworks time and it's full, they won't let you into the restaurant.

You can also make a reservation and order whatever you want.
