Cali Grill Dress Code

How nice do I need to dress? If I come from the parks and I am dressed in nicer shorts or capris and a shirt will I be okay? We aren't really tshirt people so a nicer shirt would be in order for both DH and I.

im not sure but i don't think they allow shorts... As for shirts, a nice shirt will probably work, but when i went i was in cargo pants and a long-sleeve shirt, so it wasn't too dressy, but it wasn't "out of the park" clothes either. I think that they will be fairly flexible...

Yes, they do allow shorts. Just not tank tops, bathing suits. They do request collared shirts for men, but it isn't enforced. I have seen many t-shirts in the restaurant.....I don't like it, but I see it.

"Dress shorts" and t-shirts are a part of the CG " business casual" dress code. Perfectly acceptable as long as the t-shirt isn't offensive by way of picture or logo. You will be just fine as you described.

I'm actually surprised everytime we go there how lax the code is and what they allow people in wearing. The last time we went, we brought our ds6 for the first time We made a special trip back from the park to the hotel room to change into khaki's and a nice shirt- well it was hard explaining why the kid at the table next to us looked like he rolled out of the park in a star wars tshirt. This time, I will just put him in a pair of nice shorts and collared shirt and the same for DH and myself and save ourselves a trip back to the room.
