Calgary is FINALLY getting some snow!!!!

I woke up this morning to a "light dusting" of snow and it's turned into a full on snowstorm! It's snowed like 10-15cm!!!!! Maybe the boss will be in the winter olympics spirit and give us an "extended lunch" for the hockey game today (wishful thinking!)

Finally? Here in Quebec City, we already got 328 cm of snow, when the usual amount for the whole winter is 292 cm. Maybe all the snow you were supposed to get went here...

It's been snowing all morning in Edmonton too. Looks like we might have to bring out the shovel. I think I've only had to use a shovel 3 times all winter to clean the driveway and sidewalks. Noticed on Sunday that Superstore had lots of shovels still sitting out for sale.

I don't mind the snow at all. I love it when its sunny and cold .
What I don't like is is all the ice, from the freezing rain, that we have to deal with. Its hard to shovel, snowblow and walk on!! Believe me I know...I fractured my ankle in three places seven years ago after slipping on the ice So if you guys in Edmonton want to trade a little snow for some ice,(or even some politicians) let me know...we have more than enough Have a great day!!

Wanabre, I don't mind the snow either. If it's going to be cold, let it snow so we could at least go toboganning or make snowmen. Haven't even worn my new winter boots yet this year.

Don't miss all the freezing rain, but do miss skating on the Canal and Winterlude; especially the ice slides at Jacques Cartier Park.
