If you are staying at a Disney resort (and qualify for the 90 + 10), how do you calculate the first day you can make reservations?

Is it 90 + 10 days (i.e. 100 days) in advance?

Or is it 90 days in advance (but you can make reservations for up to 10 days)?

not 100 days in advance. It is 90 days in advance, then you can make up to 10 days worth of reservations.

here's a calculator to put your arrival date in...will tell you when your 90 day mark is:

so.... if you are on a 14 day vacation you can only make reservations for the first 10 days? Then when can I make reservations for the final four? That seems a little silly :confused3

Correct. You can only make for the first 10 days of the trip. Not sure of the how you do the last 4 since I never stay that long:lmao:

May seem silly :dance3: but it is what it is. The Mouse makes the rules, we just follow.

You make day 11 reservations when it's 90 days out from day 11...and day 12 the next day...and so on.

Or you can wait until it's 90 days out from day 14, then make reservations for days 11-14.

Yikes!!! I'll never get anthing - day 11 through 14 are December 25th to 29th:sad2: Maybe I'll call and see if there is anything I can do - I'm being "punished" for staying at Disney for a longer time???

Good luck with that. The +10 has been around for awhile, it is Disneys policy and it is what it is.. You are not the ONLY person who needs to make adrs over Christmas, so I doubt you will be granted any special dispensation and be allowed to book all 14 days at once.

SOME people, not all, have been able to make the reservations for each following day after the 10th when they are within 90+10 for that date.

If my math is right, your first 10 days are December 15-24 and your ADR date is September 16. (BTW the 25-29 are 5 additional days, are you staying for 15 days instead of 14?)

You MAY be able to call on September 17 for December 25, the 18th for the 26th, 19th for the 27th, 20th for the 28th, and 21st for the 29th.

OR you may have to wait until 9/26 for the 25th, 9/27 for 12/26, 9/28 for 12/27, 9/29 for 12/28, and 9/30 for 12/29.

There doesn't seem to be a clear answer--everyone who calls gets told one of the above answers, and every CM swears up and down that THEIR answer is correct and the people who do it the other way are COMPLETELY WRONG. So you never know.

Sorry - miscalc - first day is the 16th so I will be able to at least book Christmas Day. I will try day by day after that - which means 4:00am MST for four days in a row :scared1: Thanks for the info - if I can't get through online I'll call in. I'm not looking for special treatment, it's just another one of those crazy rules that drives me  like the rule that if you switch resorts during free dining you have to purchase a one day ticket to be eligible for free dining at the second resort. My feeling is that if we don't complain about it Disney won't look at changing it. It's just frustrating that the dates I can't book are typically the ones that have generally been the most difficult to get. Although if this is the biggest problem I encounter I really can't complain :santa:
