Calander Swap- Completed

Thanks. I am waiting on some MK supplies to work on that and my June paper came yesterday so I worked it out watching TV. The cricut pieces are cut but the glitter paper was so thick that I am going to have to finish hand cutting them.

I have that problem too with DCWV glitter paper. It's like there is a special layer of paper on the bottom that doesn't cut through all the way. I always have to trim them with either the cutterbees or xacto knife. Even at the highest pressure, longest blade, cutting slow or fast-doesn't matter, that last layer won't cut through for me.

Wow Susie, that's beautiful!!

I have to take a photo of mine and will post tomorrow. I'm using My Mind's Eye Wild Asparagus Paper.

Rebecca, if it's ok with you, let's meet up when you come out this way at some point. :cool1:

Sounds great- I would like to do at least some the shop hop in March with you.

Have you tried using the multicut function like you would for chipboard?

Rebecca

Thanks for checking in- only one hasn't yet and I know things have been crazy for her.

I use the multi cut feature for the glitter paper -- set to cut 2 times. Works wonderfully.

Oops, is this me? I'm chekcing in - I have all of my paper and embellisments, just need to come up with some ideas...:goodvibes

DO you have the expression? Just press the multi cut button and use the + - signs to move from 2, 3 or 4 times. Everything else is the same as usual.

Yup, got both bugs.

So I do the multi cut FIRST and then pick my images to cut?

I don't think it matters, as long as it is on when you hit cut. You can also use the quantity button or autofill and it will cut them all 2, 3 or 4 times. If you are cutting 3 flowers, it will cut the first one however many times you picked and then move on to the next one.

I guess it would matter if you are mixing and matching -- I never use that feature, so I am not sure how that would work.

My cricut is "sleeping" right now as DS3 would say. WHen I get it out, I'll check it out. It has to be easy, because I don't even know where my manual is.

I'm checking in!! You didn't have me on your list, so you didn't see that I had to check in still too! :)

My prototypes:
I used My Mind's Eye Wild Asparagus patterned paper, for everything. I'll end up using 4 different color schemes, but it's all the same general style--floral, for May Flowers.

The solid cardstock is all from the American Crafts Christmas Colors Collection.

Do we need to post prototypes of the elements or just the full page?

Yikes! Thanks for posting this question! I forgot about the prototypes and I wasn't planning on working on mine before that date. I'll be re-arranging my plans to fit this in.

Sorry -- I don't know the answer.
