This was my cake

just the traditional destination cake but i thought it was perfect and the most amazing cake I have ever set eyes on and tasted lol.Sorry for the quality.

Thats the same cake were going to have except that the flowers will be purple to match everything else.

I was googling images of rose bouquets and accidentally found a cake that I love!
I thought I'd share it. I like the amount of flowers between the tiers. It also matches my earth tones and oranges wedding colors.

Here is a picture of a cake like I wanted, it has shavings of white chocolate on the outside. I wanted the shavings a little looser and different flowers. When we do a V/R, probably 2010 for our 17th because it is just too hard to plan now while living outside of the country and dealing with the Military costraints, I will have a similar cake.

Here is what my cake looked like becasue we had a family friend make and she wasn't comfortable doing the shavings, so we ended up white chocolate frosting. Sorry it is such a bad photo.

I've been engaged for many years. Although I knew I wouldn't get married until I was done with college, I did save some pics of cakes, dresses, flowers, etc. I looked through them and found this. It's not a Disney cake, but it's very Fairytale! It would look better with the white chocolate castle on top.

The cakes look so yummy! Do you have any pics of the inside of the cakes? We wont get chance to have a cake tasting and I'm trying to decide what flavour to go with. We are thinking of a chocolate cake, not sure about the filling

Disney can make just about anything you show them. And yes, you pretty much have to use their cakes. They will not allow food in from an outside source.

Disney says they can do any cake ....and you don’t have to choose one from the list...but I’ve noticed they tend to end up looking like the ones on the list... The picture we gave to our planner is not the cake we ended up with...but it was very pretty and i liked it when i saw it...It just wasn’t what i asked for, I did ask what happened post wedding and I was told this is what the baker envisioned

What?!!? Why did they say they could do "anything" for you when all they could "envision" was what's in the catalog! "envisioned" Jeez...what a load of balony!

The colors are very muted in the pictures, but the cake had beautiful colors.
