Cake Boss-Disney-Monday

I saw bits and pieces of the show...I think his dd's castle cake turned out really well! The princesses looked like Disney princesses-he did a good job.

When Buddy brought the cake to the party, where was the party set up?

Also, didn't it look like his dd had gone to the bibbity bobbity boutique and gotten dressed as Belle? :)

It looked like the party was set up at the Grand to me.

I agree with some of you, Cake Boss is alright and he makes good cakes, but I do like Duff better.

I was wondering if any one here had a cannoli at the food and wine festival. Was it as good as it looked?

...yeah, and didn't he say that he was making them from a picture in his mind??? Wow, that's good!

I don't like Buddy. I can watch Duff for hours; I can't stand Buddy. The only reason I watch TLC is for "What Not to Wear."

That being said, I can't stand that commercial for his family going to Disney. It's so contrived!

Every time he said "Diziney World", I thought DH was going to scream.
Oh, I was :lmao: at that. My dd used to say it that way too, until she was about 8 or 9. :rotfl2: She used to say "muddah", "faddah" and "bruddah", too. Don't know where she got that accent from. :confused3

I didn't see the whole thing, just snippets. The cake looked great! His dd is a cutie, but does anyone really believe she just up and decided she wanted him to make her cake when they were there? ;) Hmm, daddy's off of work, playing with me at WDW. I'd rather he disappear for who knows how many hours to make me a gigantic castle cake than buy a cake and get to spend time with my daddy. :confused3

And I have to say, it drives me NUTS when he says "cannolis". :rotfl: Cannoli is already plural! If you need to pluralize it the American way and add an S, start with the singular, cannolo! :happytv: Sorry, I know it's common to say it that way in the U.S., but come on Buddy, you're a baker, you pride yourself on your heritage, you oughta know better! :happytv:

that cake was very nice, but the only people at Sophia's party were her parents, brothers and Buddy's sisters family. Three and a half feet of cake for them :scared1:

I agree, she only asked because that's what they told her to do. I'm sure the kid would've been just as happy with a cake from a Disney bakery.

I think all the turrets were rice krispies, and just the bottom tier was actual cake. And maybe the camera crew got some too - lol.

They did it so they could shoot an TV show.

Buddy made the cake from scratch not a mix. ;) I do think that his daughter would have been perfectly happy with a 12 or 14 inch cake versus one that was so BIG
