Part 8 Sunday, August 1, 2004 MK
We has a PS for Cinderellas Royal Table for breakfast at 8:05 am. This was also early entry day for MK. We arrived at the front gates about 7:45 (loved being on the monorail for transportation). We stood and chatted with some other folks waiting to get in .very nice family goes to the world every year at the same time. ..listened to the countdown and off we went. This is the first time that I had ever experienced the opening of one of the 4 major parks. I cant believe that people really do RUN to the rides! We arrive at the castle and are seated right away. None of us has ever been IN the castle, so we were all excited, well except for Chris! Chris had a bad attitude going in to this. Add the facts the he was tired, they didnt have any foods that he liked and add to it he had to endure PRINCESSES, he was just not looking forward to it. Suzanne on the other hand was very excited she even wore her tiara. Larry again thought this would be a good life experience. It was a good meal (I had the traditional meal the healthy meal they said was not very yummy), the princess interaction was great, and the boys did some more pin trading (Chris got the Donald Pirate Coin Lanyard Pin and Andrew got the Fairy Godmother Lanyard Pin). We were glad we went, but dont know that we will make it a part of our future trips. After breakfast, Chris & I headed back to the room he needed a little quiet time. On our way out, we did a little shopping (picked up a set of Mickey Hands), got him a muffin for breakfast at the bakery and road the train all the way around the park. While on the train, we met some nice folks from the Tallahassee area who were down for the week end. We had a nice chat until they got off in Frontierland. (Even Chris was animated in telling them all about what he had done already and what he likes in the parks). Then it was off to the hotel for a rest for the two of us. We werent back to the hotel long before the rest of the gang showed up. I dont remember what we did for the rest of the day. (I had too many days like this I guess that was a good thing .I must have been relaxing, like one should do during a vacation!)
