I like a morning cup of something to warm me up at work. Since there's no coffee maker here and the coffee truck that comes has the world's worst coffee, I usually buy those General Food's International Coffees and make a cup here. I've had mocha, but switched to French Vanilla (since I'm avoiding chocolate for lent). Then this week I saw Belgium Hazelnut. So I bought it. I think they dumped extra caffiene in it though. Yesterday I was hyped and today is no different! I know I don't handle caffiene all that well (which is why I only do small coffees at Dunkin' Donuts), but boy I am bouncing off the walls today!

Belgium Hazelnut...mmmmmm! I think I'm immune to caffeine. DH makes one pot when he gets up, then I make myself a second pot. I'm still half asleep. ;)

I use to feel the same way before I started drinking coffee daily, I would drink one cup and bounce off the walls for the day, now I drink three cups and I need more, LOL.

This morning, mine was more like caffeine "FLY"!

I tripped in the parking lot this morning coming into the building at work and my coffee-filled travel mug was in my right hand. When I fell forward, face down, my coffee mug went "flying" and, although it didn't break (plastic), it spilled my beloved coffee "all gone"!

We always make a mixture of Millstone's Vanilla Nut Creme and Hazelnut. We have a small coffee bean grinder and grind the beans as we make each pot.

I usually only have a mug or two in the morning, but my DH drinks it ALL DAY LONG, right up until he goes to bed!!!

This morning he flew on the company plane from Tampa to Dallas, and didn't want to drink too much cause it's hard to go to the bathroom on a small Lear Jet with others right there, so when he lands at his destination, that's the first thing he gets! ;)

Gave up caffeine about 5 years ago, went through withdrawal for 4 days...wicked headache.

When you factored in soda I was drinking the equivalent of 10-12 cups of coffee per day. 20oz Dunkin Donuts in the am, 20oz Pepsi around 10, 20 oz pepsi at lunch, 20oz pepsi at 3, another 20oz at dinner...I was always hopped up on caffeine. It is absolutely, without a doubt in my mind a drug that people dismiss as harmless. Go off it for a few days and then tell me how harmless it is.

I had the same experience as ToyStoryFan. I was drinking about 3/4 of a pot of coffee at work in the morning. Dr. said I should go off caffeine and I totally had the headache/withdrawal thing. I mostly drink decaf now, but occasionally sneak a cup of the real deal.

Caffeine used to have no effect on me when I drank it all the time, but now that I no longer drink soda at all, my occasional Starbucks is enough to really get me going!

I used to drink a TON of soda- one or two before work, one at work during our meeting, one during the first show, one between shows, one during the second show, and two or three when I got home. No wonder I ended up with stomach problems!
