Is there diet sprite or 7up (or caffeine free diet coke) on the Magic? I"d like to get the refill option but don't want to be perpetually wired from caffeine on the cruise :).:Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I think the world would come to an end if some place actually served diet anything other than (diet) Coke or (diet) Pepsi.

In answer to your question, no they don't :( . I asked at the dining room if the diet Coke was caffiene free, and they said that it was not.
Some day....... we can only dream.

Sadly, if you need diet and caffeine free then you will have to lug it on yourself.

I don't like caffeine, and I'm not supposed to have it with the medication I'm taking, so I'm planning on making my own caffeine-free iced tea. I'll order a cup of hot decaf tea, and ask for a glassful of ice, then pour the tea over the ice, add lemon and sugar, and voila`, I have decaf iced tea :)

I do wish restaurants would serve decaf soda other than cola though, I'm not a big fan of cola.

The other alternative is lemonade, which they have on the ship.

I plan on ordering baskets from The Perfect Gift, and I'll ask Shirley to include some diet Sprite and diet root beer, both of which are caffeine free.

There is diet caffeine free coke on the Magic. But, it only comes in cans. It is not included in the soda package. You can get it at any of the bars and through room service. I bought three cans for 4.50 + 15% tip on my Sept, 2003 cuise. I don't know if you can buy it in the dinning rooms though, but I don't see why not. In other words, it's there, but not free anywhere.

I get Crystal Light single serve packs at NetGrocer.com.
They have ice tea, lemonade and fruit punch. Just mix it in a cup or bottle of water and you're good to go. The best part is they only cost about $2 for 24 packs. The packages are small, so they are easy to carry in your wallet or pocket. I've been taking them to WDW and Disneyland for years. I can deal with the caffeine. I can't deal with water and Diet Coke being my only choice of beverages for a week.

What is the availability of drinking water? (I don't necessarily need Evian, but not tap either) Does purified water come w/ the drink package? Or is it readily available (don't want to lug on bottled water AND diet sprite!!! :)princess:
