In the health portion of gym class last year, the teacher brought an energy drink.
And measured out how much sugar was in it and put it in a ziploc bag.
There was twice as much sugar in the energy drink as there was in soda she said and that was a ton of sugar.
I've heard that they can boost blood pressure, cause insomnia, dehydration and is terrible for your heart.
Another teacher for health came in and said she absolutely hated energy drinks. One of the girls said she'd drink about 2 a day, but cut down to one and the teacher kept telling her that 2 a day was way too much and to try to cut it down to about 2 a week. Or give it all up if she could do it because of how bad it was.
That's just what the teacher said.
