I have yet to try a Monte Cristo Sandwich or Pommes Frites and I decided on this next trip im gonna do it. My question is, im going for the halloween party on oct 22 and im wondering first are they gonna be open and do i have to make reservations? also gonna try my first dole whip too!

I saw the map for the Halloween Party and Cafe Orleans and The Blue Bayou was not listed as one of the dining locations opened during the party. I would suggest calling Disney Dining to inquire however and they can also make any reservations for you. The number is 714-781-3463

I'd guess that it's not open during the actual party (from what I've read there won't be any table service restaurants open), but it probably will be open during the early entry hours for the party when there are still regular park guests needing to be fed, so that'd be the time to try it if you're going to be there.

I've heard the same thing, just counter-service places open at the party. It was the same when the party was at DCA.

on all 3 food items though (pomme frites...monte cristo...dole whip) ... I can eat them all...probably not all at the same time though

We wanted to eat there the night we are going to the party, too. When called to make a reservation, they gave us the last time slot of the day which was 4:50 pm. I think they close at 5 pm hoping we will all be out of there by 6 pm, which we probably will. I figured we'll just get a snack later in the evening and be fine. Have a great trip.
