Cafe Orleans Question

I'm a fan of Ralph Brennan's, but imo, their beignets leave a lot to be desired. they are basically just donuts, not true beignets. The ones at Cafe Orleans are MUCH MUCH better

How many beignets and pomme frites do they give you? Too much for one person?

IMO...way too many for one person. At least, way too many for just me . There's a big ol' basket of fries (pommes frittes) and a small tower (5) of Mickey beignets. The portions are pretty generous at Cafe' Orleans.

The Mint Julep Bar sells Mickey beignets now. When I was eating @ the French Market last week, I saw someone holding a bag & eating the beignets & realized that it came from the Mint Julep Bar!

They do?? That is the best news yet!!

Something I do know about Cafe Orleans.

If you sit down and have a meal, they will let you order beignets to go. We did that one time, found a spot for Fantasmic, and enjoyed them during the show.
