I would like to say you shouldn't need one, but that's based on my experience. I've only eaten at the CO a handful of times in recent years (I don't enjoy it as much as some of the other DISers do) and I never had an ADR. But if you're calling Disney anyway, I would make one just to be safe!

I would make one for CO if you are calling anyways. We usually go for dinner instead of lunch and there is always a line a people and I am always glad that I called beforehand.

I would suggest going to BB for lunch--that way you have a really good chance of getting a waterside table without a lot of waiting. I would make an ADR for 11:30 a.m. Show up at the podium at about 11:10, tell them about your ADR, and request a waterside table. They will take note and then tell you to come back at around 11:25. That's what we did, and we were the very first ones seated. Granted, we went during the off season (although it was still fairly busy)--but the restaurant was full in minutes, and yet we still got the best table in the house. Good luck!
