me again...
right, thinking of our character meal....

whats the difference between booking a character meal for £21 adult, and £10 child..... to phoning up and reserving a table, and then ordering whatever u fancy (however large or small??)

is there any difference at all??? was just thinking, cud be easier to reserve the table, and then just order what we want for lunch, rather than paying the character meal prices and then not wanting much to eat (wanting to book lunch at 12pm!) but obviously, if there is a difference, and maybe u get stuck in a corner and miss on characters :rotfl: :rotfl: then ill pay the money for the character meal!!!

does any of that make sense???

We didn't pay in advance for a set menu meal at Cafe Mickey - we booked the table in advance, and just picked what we wanted from the menu.

We were seated right in the middle of the restaurant on the ground floor - right in the thick of the action :goodvibes !

I've only been on the ground floor of the restaurant, but there are no "corners" to get stuck into - everything is very open plan.

I assume the set menu price is just an option to save a bit of money should you want a starter, main course and dessert. You could just have a main course and it would still be a character meal at Cafe Mickey - the characters are just there! The set child price is something that is done at most, if not all, the table service restaurants in DLP. So when you make a booking, you are just reserving a table - you don't need to worry about how much you will eat and spend until you get there.

To help, click on menu here from the DLP Foodguide :)

Have you read my trippie "To Infinity & Beyond" I dedicate a full section to Cafe Mickey, as it was such a superb night.

we had lunch at cafe mickeys last week, when I booked it it was for the set menu which is 30 euros each for adults and my daughter who is 14 only one child under 11 in our party of 6 so it looked liked an expensive meal.we were given the menu you could choose of anything to eat not just the set menu.we all had delicious meals and really enjoyed ourselves.great few hours

We've only ever reserved a time and then ordered from the menu, I didn't realise there was a set menu
I always struggle to finish a main course and dessert in there, there's no way I'd want a starter too.

thanks for that all!!
it is great to get ideas of what to expect, and loved ur report kevg!! am gonna go read it again - all excited that we will be there soon!!
