We're planning on flying down for our next trip (the first time since we've been married and had dd). usually we drive and have our car and can come and go as we please.

i'm wondering that since the wdw bus doesn't go from resort to resort we're wondering about taking cabs to those places when we want to have dinner at another resort.

what's the average cost for a taxi ride

we'll be staying at Animal Kingdom and may want to go to beaches and cream, mini golf.

i know when we go to the poly or grand or even the contemp we'll just go to MK since the monorail and boats are right there and if it was just us i think we'd even go to Epcot and grab the next bus to the resort we want to go to but we'll be bringing my brother and since this is his first trip we don't want to make it too complicated with too many transfers just for dinner (though i know it would love some of the places we want to go like Kat kora's place)

thanks.

If your doing a lot of resort to resort or other locations, you might want to look into renting a car for your stay, the cost of cabs might be as much as the car.

no we won't be doing a lot - maybe only once or twice outside the parks.

what i'm meaning is that if it's 20 or 30 bucks to go from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Boardwalk then we'll skip Kat's restaurant but if it's only 10 bucks we'll take a cab.

Well like you said mk for the mk resort that are on the monrail. I would go to dhs take boat or walk and you get acess to swan dolphin beach club and yacht club and the board walk hotel. DTD to transfer to other resorts or transfer to boart for port orleans okw and ssr. And it free and you will get a pleasnt safe driver to take you.

Cab with tip approx $15-$18. Cab 10-15 min, buses, walking, boats, etc. 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
