Never knew there were cabins until I read this board. WOW What do they cost and how long in advance do you have to book them? Is there a minimum stay?

Well, I don't know when you are thinking about going but here is the 2005 pricing:

2005 Seasons

Cabins
Value Season: 1/1 - 2/16, 7/5 - 10/4, 11/27 - 12/19
Regular Season: 4/17 - 7/4, 10/5 - 11/26
Peak Season: 2/17 - 4/16
Holiday Season: 12/20 - 12/31

So, a one night stay on July 3rd (regular season) would be $274 per night (+ tax)

There is no minimum stay and you need to book when you know your dates. Campsites and cabins book fairly quickly so book when yo kow when you want to go.

Just so you'll know, I've seen discount rates posted on these boards for the cabins. For this last round of discounts (Sept. timeframe - value season), they were approximately $166/night and I think that was including tax.

Yes, the room-only discount codes usually cover cabins as well. We've got AAA discounts with our cabin booked for October, but if October codes come out I will try to switch. In late January last year we got a great discount.

Cabins are the best! And a great solution for people who might have logistical problems with single rooms -- i.e., my mom likes to meet us at Disney and the cabin gives everybody privacy and room to spread out. Oh, and a place to toast a bagel and brew coffee before hitting the park!

I thought they just had trailers that they rented out. Anybody know how long the cabins have been there? We're really excited to be going this way, I think it's going to be extra-special for the kids to have room to move back at the resort.

We have stayed in the cabins for the past two summers. They are great. Since we have 5 children, we love the space, the kitchen and bunk beds.

We did the FTP last summer and the 5+2 pkg this summer. This made the cabins and park tickets very affordable.

I have seen the room only rates for the cabins as low as $144/night. You may want to check out mousavers.com for some past rates.
