Has anyone ever stayed in the Category 9 cabins on Deck 2? We have some friends that are looking to book and we have never stayed on that floor. Any problems with the ride being too bumpy or noisy? Give me the pros and cons. Thanks. They are looking at connecting rooms mid ship.

We were on the 5/27 Wonder cabin 2014 cat 9. We loved the room. Plenty of space, no noise except for when we backed into CC. Next cruise we plan on getting a room in the same location or as close as possible. We were closer to the front of the ship though.
Can't think of anything we didn't like about the room.
DS's were in Cat 12 across the hall, even that was a nice inside room, very quiet also.

I'm sorry it didn't work. Do a search on the user name Mikepro. He posted the question on the deck 2 staterooms.

I stayed in 2518 on my last cruise. Though listed as a noisy room, our room was under Diversions and we didn't hear the first bit of noise from upstairs the entire cruise. We heard more noise and felt more motion on deck 4 aft than we did in our room.

Perhaps the only con is that the windows got dirty pretty quick from the sea spray, though at every port they were washed off.

We stayed in room 2108 and it was great. Close to elevators, close to ship departure on deck 1. Overall great room.

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :D ;)

We'll be in #2546 on the 4 night Wonder this coming Sunday so if you'd like I can let you know how it was when we get back.

I have stayed in 2546 and it was a great location!!! We love Decks 1 and 2...I even have 2546 booked for the 14 day repo cruise back to Florida!!!

We've stayed on Deck 2 twice, and will be there again in a couple weeks.

It is the best value, in my opinion. Have no hesitation in booking Deck 2.

We always opt for cat 9 staterooms on deck 2.....our preference is aft near the elevators, starboard....we like this location for the convenience and closeness to our favorite venues (restaurants, Buena Vista Theater, straight shot up to deck 9 beverage station, Scoops, Plutos)....also, aft elevators are least used...Contrary to what you may think, the staterooms near the aft elevators are quiet....

here are my favorite cat 9 staterooms in order

2614, 2608, 2610, 2612, 2114, 2108, 2110, 2112

alexandrew,
Can you tell me what's nearby 2114, if you remember? I'm curious because we've got connecting rooms 2122 & 2124 and they are on the "noisy list". THANKS!

Can someone tell me where I would find this "noisy list"? I just booked this morning for a 3 day in September and they gave me room 2514. Thanks

That room is on the noisy list, except that it isn't noisy. It is under one of the quiet nightclubs. You won't have a problem. In fact, I reserved the same room on the Magic for a 7 day next year after staying in 2518 last March.
