My family has been to FW 11 times andevery trip we would always see the cabins closest to Trail's End (i think 400 or 500 loop:confused3 ) and we always wonder what they are there for? Can anyone answer this??????

Those were originally the VIP or Sponsor cabins. When Fleetwood was the campground sponsor they used to use it for their employees. When they were not using them FW would put their cabin overflow in them. They used to only sleep 4 though. They maybe outfitted for six now.

They are in loop 100, a few months ago someone posted they actually were placed in one of them. :thumbsup2

I've read you really can't request them, but that you might luck out and get to stay in them if you hit it right.

Good question, dh & I were wondering the same thing. I would love to get one of them.

I posted that my DH and I actually scored one of these. I didn't even know that it was a "sought after" location at the time.

Our cabin # was 118. Very close to the dock, Trail's End, etc.

I did not ask for it I just made a reservation for a cabin and at check-in, was told that my cabin would be ready in 20 minutes and I was in 118!

I can say that the next time we went we got in the 2300 loop. I thought it would be a let down but with the internal bus transportation, it wasn't any problem at all! And this time I had requested cabin 118.

Yes, it does sleep 6.

So, it doesn't do a whole lot of good to put in a special request unless it's a handicapable need. It truly is the luck of the draw.

TCD..that was one of the first reports I remember of yours.....I can see you doing a report TODAY of those same cabins...but Im seeing photos of the inside of the cabins...right down to the corners of the closets, along with a detailed history of everyone who has ever stayed in them!!! Your reporting style has lost alot of shyness, youve become the BOLD, BRAVE, & BALLSY, NO HOLDS BARRED reporter that gets into places that no DISNEY reporter has gone before!!!

Its good to have you around, man:)
