Just booked our 4-9-05 cruise. We are staying in Cat. 10 connecting rooms 7005 & 7007. They are in the forward of the ship......will there be a lot of movement? We were in 6135 & 6134 last year and loved the location. Will I be rolling off the bed with the waves???

I don't have an answer for you but we are leaving in 3 1/2 weeks and our cabins are 6024/6026 so pretty far front as well. I'm hoping we don't get sick. My inlaws stayed in the very 1st Nav verandah cabin on the 7th deck (can't remember the number) and they said it was great! They hardly felt anything and didn't fall out of bed or notice the movement any more so than in our cabin which was 8550 mid ship.

I was in 7003 a week ago and loved the location! Yes, we felt the boat rocking, but I don't know if that was any more so than other locations; just took a bit of getting used to. We certainly didn't fall out of bed! Two of the nights we had full gale conditions, with 20-30 foot swells, so every place in the ship was rocking in a big way; however, I thought that our cabin felt as stable as any other place (i.e., not very, but no worse...).

We were in 7604, aft, so probably got the same motion as forward, and it was rough, but it made all 4 of us sleep like babies. Well, I DID wake up at 3 am Tuesday morning enroute to St. Martin when there was a loud bang that sounded like we hit something. Other than that, no problem.

Hopelea,

We have room 6134 on our May 20th cruise. I'm glad to hear you liked it on your last cruise. Can you tell me some reasons why you liked it? Also, do you remember where you go for the lifeboat drill? DH is claustrophobic and I'm getting worried about him being in a crowded area with his lifevest on.

Thanks!

Donna

:wave2: Actually, my parents and one of my children were in 6134....I was across the hall with my dh and other dd in 6135!! They opted for the more expensive room. I was able to take advantage of their balcony :teeth: ! Their room was great! Lots of room and the balcony was wonderful. It have a great view. I know you will enjoy it!

My dh loves the darkness of the interior rooms.

We went to Animators palate for our lifeboat drill. It was fast and painless. Just down two flights of stairs and you are there. We were there less than 20 minutes.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, Hope. Our DD and her friend will be across the hall from us in Room 6133.

That's good to know about the lifeboat drill. I figured if we got there about 5 minutes before it starts we wouldn't have to be there very long.
