We just got home yesterday- I was surprised to see a couple cabin loops closed off. I was talking to mousekeeping and she told me the cabins are being remodeled- everything new! She said the new bunk beds are cool. I can't wait for Nov to get a remodeled cabin. Right now loops 2700 and Bobcat are being done over.

Hmm, will be interesting to see the new bunk beds, I was always a fan of the old ones. Were actually rather spacious for bunk beds, I've enjoyed many a night on the top bunk (easier to drop stuff on the bottom bunk ).

Yipee - thanks for the info - we're going in November as well. We've requested Loop 2500 or 2700 - Are these both being remodeled?

Will all of the cabins be remodeled by Nov., we are also heading down the second week of November - can't wait. I haven't really requested a certain loop, just to be towards the back and where its quite Maybe I should call AAA and put in my request

We drove the golf cart around and looked in empty cabins- but couldn't find any that were remodeled. We only checked loops 2800 and 2500- because it was rainning.
Bob cat bend loop? Is that the name? The cabins were pretty much empty. We saw them cleaning/painting the doors- I can't wait to see the new furniture!!

However, mousekeeping I spoke with said by Nov. all the loops should be finished. I will ask for a newly remodeled loop when I check in on Nov 12th. I have to doubt all the loops will be done by Nov. But maybe disney works really fast!!

So I know 2700 and Bob cat loop will be newly done.

2700 for sure- not sure about when 2500 loop will be remodeled.

We like loop 2500, but if we can get a remolded cabin we will take it regardless of the loop it's in!!
Can't wait to see what's new!!

I wonder if they'll keep the wall art the same? Some of my favorite art in all of the Fort has been on the walls of the cabins, love the Mickey crossing the Deleware one.

Yes, and it's a good thing that picture is nailed down. If they change them, I'd say start looking on ebay for them.

OOH! I will be there in 2 weeks. Can't wait to try and see what they are doing. I doubt there will be enough done to request a "new" cabin. Oh well.. next time!

Yep, I plan on visiting Mouse Surplus a lot more than usual in the upcoming months. I'm almost expecting for some of the cabin interiors to show up.

(I know this for a fact, because I accidentally turned in to the wrong loop, and ended up at 2714 instead of 2814 , and there were cars parked in nearly every driveway in the loop)

you sound like my mom- she pulls into her neighbors driveway and says- now who put that in the garage? Hmmm, wrong driveway MOM!

I can't wait to see the NEWLY remodeled cabins.
