Hello, Im sure this question has been asked a million times *my apologies*, but can any of the room codes that get released be applied to the cabins?? We're thinking about a trip in July. AAA discount is usually available correct?? Thanks!

Christine

We got a room code for our trip in April. This is a busy time, so the rates were higher anyway. We started off with $349 a night with tax. After the room code was applied it ended up $201 a night with tax. Big savings. You may get it for less depending on the season. I am not sure if that time falls under peak or regular. Keep in mind though that if you check in on a day that falls under peak rates, that rate applies the whole trip. Unfortunately this is the case with our trip, but we couldnt work it any other way. If you get the code for regular season rates, I think...but I am not 100% on this, the room rate was like 155 night plus tax, just to give you an idea. AAA rates do apply. I did have this rate before the codes came out. GO FOR THE CODES if you can. AAA rate is great if there is nothing else, after all something is better than nothing. It basically got rid of the tax for each night on my ressie, about $35 dollars off each night I believe it was that we saved. Watch the budget board here and mousesavers.com regularly when the winter offers get ready to end. We are going in April and the rates came out not too long ago. So I am guessing codes for summer will be out in the next month or so. Keep your eyes peeled and good luck.

Thanks kerry!! Im defintely watching for those codes. We're going in july, which is value season for the cabins :D

We were able to get an AP rate at the cabins in January of 2004 (also Value season). Got a GREAT rate of $139/night (we were originally booked at PO-R for rack rate, and paid in full, so we just changed resorts, and transferred the money).

We absolutely LOVED them, and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Kerry34: I think you can make a second reservation for the lower rate period, link that reservation to the first, and all you have to do is visit the Outpost to check in and out on paper. It's worth it to at least ask, because it could save you lots of money.

DGaton...

Thanks for the info. I never even thought to ask about that. I will most definately call them and ask about that. It would definately save us money that is for sure.

The AAA discounts currently go through all of 2005, so you could make your reservations now, then add a different/lower discount later on if it becomes available!
