Anyone else get their cabin assigned yet? We did and got a really, really bad location. Can't help but feel like they were filling up the ship from the bottom up. We did get the same category we had in January. I called to change the location and they were not really willing to make the change. They first told me I could not move. They gave me a slightly better location, but I'm still not happy so I will call back in a few days. Just wondering what experience others were having.

I am anxiously awaiting our assignment. I'm taking 3 cabins of family members with us-they are on Deck 7 aft, and I still don't know where we'll be on the 10/3 cruise. Since I posted, I checked the DCL site. We have been assigned Deck 5 aft, just six rooms forward from where we were in January. Works for me!!

How did you find out your cabin assignment? I was told I had a guaranteed cat. 4, and we would get cabin # when we boarded. We booked through DU, can we get our cabin # now?:smooth: :smooth:

When I booked Feb 1, I was told also that I wouldn't get a cabin assignment till we boarded but kept checking the DCL website 2 times a week and looked up my ressie. Nothing until today when I checked it and GTY was finally replaced with our stateroom assignment.#5650. I am glad to be aft but I would rather be on deck 6 ( one more flight to walk up!) I also would rather have a clear veranda but I'll look at this as a learning experience:)

We were assigned our cabin numbers after the check for the full amount of the cruise cleared and DCL had received our vouchers. We have the same category as the Jan. sailing, cat. 11, which was fine for just myself and DH, but now we are taking all 4 of our kids, and was really hoping for connecting cat. 10. DCL was very strict on the cat. 11, so I am in 1 cabin with 2 oldest kids, and DH is in 1 cabin with younger 2, and we are next door to each other. We will be deck 5 AFT in Oct., and were deck 6 AFT in Jan. The only difference I see in the 2 locations is 1 more flight of steps for DH to climb to get to the ESPN Club! It seems our Oct. cruise is filling up fast, so I don't hold out much hope for better arrangements, but I wish you luck.

I dunno...for $99, I think I'd even take stateroom 2626!
We will be on a 3-day in Sept. paying full price for a secret porthole room while lots of lucky people are taking advantage of higher categories at the rock-bottom price. Hubby really pushed to take a 4-day in Jan. so we could get that deal, too, but we would have had to take unpaid days off work so it wouldn't have been a deal anyway. But for $99, I'd even stay next to the engine room, considering that the regular Cat. 10 rate for the two of us is almost $1000.

I agree Barb.....just so my cabin has at least one bed, a shower(oh shoot...I don't even care if it has a shower..we'll shower in the Rainforest!!!) and a commode!!!!!

Go to the DCL website, put in your ressie # and phone # and your ressie should pop up. I sent a Cashiers Check and my
voucher Fed Ex, they plugged in my payment, but the site did
not give me a cabin # until about 2 weeks later. We got the
exact deck we had in January, except on the other side of
the ship. Never been on the port side..going to be different.

We cruised cat. 11 in January....deck 6 midship. On Oct 17 cruise we will be in cat. 11...deck 7 aft....just a few feet from the beloved secret deck 7 aft. For me, I couldn't have asked for better! :D

We also received the same category we had on our January cruise. It showed up as a GTY category 5 for a few days until DCL received our voucher and then *presto* cabin number 7070 was assigned. That is just a few staterooms down from our January cabin and we're thrilled!:D

Quick question. DH & I are wanting to take our 2nd Disney Cruise and I'm wondering if this $99 cruise is still available or was it just a special offered for a limited time and/or to certain individuals (like CM's I'm thinking?).

Thanks for your help.

Hi, looking at booking DH & I on our 2nd Disney cruise and was wondering if the $99 rate was only offered for a limited time and or to a specific group (thinking maybe CM's)? Would appreciate your help with this question.

Thank you,

Mary

The $99 deal was a special promotion for those that sailed either 4 or 7 day cruises in the month of January. If you didn't, unfortunately, the deal won't apply to you.

We booked ours and, as above, got our stateroom assigned after we sent in our payment. We got a cat. 4 (they wouldn't match our cat. 3 but can you blame them?) and are in a very good location. No complaints here. For $99, I think I would sleep in the engine room!
