Cabin Allotment for Point Users

Does anyone know how our points allotment works? Do they keep cabins available for our 11 month window or if the ship sells out we end up out of luck??

They do not earmark nor "keep" any cabins for DVC Members on the Disney Cruises.

Think of Member Services as any other travel agency. You are using them to book the cruise, just as any other person wanting to. The difference, of course, is that you are using DVC Points, being charged a $75 fee, and are subject to the 11 month booking window.

That being said, I have cruised several times on points, and never had any trouble getting the date and category that I wanted.

It's actually the oposite from what I understand. Much like those cheap airlines seats, they cut off reservations from DVC prior to the boat being full.
