We will be sailing on the 7 day Eastern Feb. 7th and we've been assigned cabin 2130, anyone out there have info on this room? I'm wondering about the noise level, I've heard some rooms on deck 2 are in areas of the ship that generate much noise. I called TA and asked about this but she didn't know. I was wondering if we'd be better off not having a cabin assigned to us, just a guarantee category. Any input/advice would be much appreciated. Have a magical weekend!!

We once stayed in 2131 on the Wonder, which is across the hall from your room.
It was extremely noisy. I don't know if it was the kitchen above us or what, but every night it sounded like they were moving furniture around all night long. The sound did seem to be coming from behind the room, not above though, so maybe the back door neighbours were into partying?
You are across the hall so it might be different there.

Hi there!

We will be right across the hall from you guys! (well, down some #2147). We are going with a huge group of friends and they will have all the inside rooms up to 2129.

Anyway, I have heard it is pretty noisy too. Then I have heard from others that it really didn't bother them. (for example carts being rolled around from above around 3:30 in the a.m. They heard it if they were awake).

I think maybe a little Tylenol PM is in order;)

Honestly, I don't really remember much noise in the daytime. It was mainly at night. Maybe they were in the kitchen preparing for the next day.
Once I get to sleep it nothing really bother me!!!
and everyones tolerance level is different. So don't stress about it just go and enjoy!

Just back 20 minutes ago from the 11/15 Eastern Magic. Believe it or not, we stayed in room 2130! What a coincidence. We loved our room, so convneient to the elevators up to Topsiders and the pools, Parrot Cay and Animators Palate, even Shuttersa and Palo. I don't know why anyone would stay forward!

The halls were very quiet, as there was noe reason to be outside or passing by except if you were staying the few room spast ours, but we did occasional hear some high heels clicking and some rolling carts on the floor above us. This always ended by 9 pm or so, after the restaurants cleared out. We loved our room and in fact commented that we will probably stay aft from now on just for the convenience. Any particular questions, just ask!

i stayed in 2143 and 2145 on the wonder and all that i have to say is that it was a little noisy, but you will be so tired you wont have a problem sleeping

Peg,
I hope you had a very magical cruise and thank you so much for sharing your experience with me (us). I don't think I will bother to change our cabin, unless of course we are blessed with some pixie dust for an upgrade!! Any other things you would recommened or anything we should bypass? If you would like to email me I'd greatly appreciate it. Have a great day.

Loved 2131. It was our stateroom on our very first cruise on the 7 day Magic 9/28/02. The room was very convinient to Topsiders. We found the elevators very fast. When we wanted to go "on deck" we were 2 quick flights of stairs to deck 4. Going to the theater was a bit of a walk, but hey, we're on vacation, no need to rush!;) We found the room to be very quite. Some mild humming noiseat times, it reminded me of listening to the rain. Never had any problem sleeping. Hope you enjoy your trip.
