Cabanas lunch on CC day

Does Cabanas offer their usual lunch buffet on Castaway Cay day? I am just wondering if they have limited choices because they are also running a buffet on the island. We are thinking about doing the 5K and then coming back on board the ship, having lunch on the ship, then going back out to the island in the afternoon. I think it may work better for us because my son has a food allergy and we have had a few issues getting his lunch on Castaway Cay. And the rest of us don't care for the food at Cookies compared to in Cabanas.

According to a recent Fantasy Navigator, Cabanas is open from 12:00 to 1:30 on Castaway Cay day.

Dream - 12:00 to 2:00

Not open on the Magic (but Carioca's is open 12:00 to 1:30)

Wonder - 12:00 to 1:30

Which ship are you on? I asked for someone on the Magic (in Nov/Dec so could have changed) and Cabanas wasn't open, but one of the restaurants was along with the other deck 9 options (pizza's, burgers...)

On our 2017 NYE Wonder cruise, Cabana's was open between noon and 1:30PM on CC day.

We were just on the Wonder for the March 9 sailing, we were told by a cm that Cabanas is open on CC day but it is a very limited amount of choices. The reason being that a lot of the cms will be on CC working

I do the 5K and go back to the ship, and it's still solidly breakfast-time. And I'm NOT fast.
