Has anyone rented one and did you really enjoy it? We have the Stevie Wonder one reserved for our first day and I would love to hear any opinions! We are driving down, arriving in the early am, and I thought this might be a nice place to relax if our room wasn't ready. Would you spend the $$ or just grab a few chairs and call it good?

we rented 2 last year. the stevie wonder cabana and the one right next to it. Our group had a great time! We stay club level so we recieved the cabanas for 1/2 off. I doubt we would pay full price for the themed cabana, but its really personal choice.

We've rented cabanas at HRH on our last several trips and really enjoyed them. We rent on days when FL family/friends are coming to the parks to meet us - gives us a place to hang out, on trips when we have little ones along- great to have a fridge for bottles, water, place for keeping them out of the sun and napping, the 'teens' love it for watching TV - the men love it when there's a big game on - when we can afford it, we just love it in general. :thumbsup2 It's also a good place to have when you're checking in early, like you are, and not planning on heading straight to the parks - or also when your flight is leaving late - gives you a 'space' for the day and you can even close the sides securely to change. We also love hanging out in the cabana in the evenings after a long day in the parks! We've never payed the extra for a themed cabana, but here's a pic I took of the yellow submarine one in case you haven't seen it.

Last year, although staying at PBH. we rented the Yellow Submarine and the one next to it for the day. We arrived around 10am and stayed until closing. It was great to have a place to watch the dive in movie and a guaranteed spot in the shade (under the fan) to eat and just relax.

The waiter service was great too. They were very attentive - actually too attentive, as our bar bill for the day was ummmm, never mind :teeth: But it was nice that the kids could just order what they wanted without having to run to the other side of the pool - and it was delivered in timely fashion.

The kids loved the included floats and spent most of the day in the pool playing on them, of course in between running back and forth to the parks to ride a few rides with the dads. I happily lounged around with a good book.

Of all the trips we have made there, the kids still consider that one of the best vacation days we have had.

We would do it again in a heartbeat!

We loved renting the cabanas. We've rented it for three of our five days for our July trip. What I really like is renting in on our check-out date. It's a nice feeling that you're not "homeless" until it time to get picked up for the airport. we always take a late flight so this is perfect for us.

My family are Cabana People! Just ask my son, thats what he calls us. :confused3 But seriously we all love a "down" day to just hang and that day can often be the most fun!

Its a day to relax and be waited on and have a great meal outdoors by the pool not to mention a few great cocktails too. The kids are in their glory cause they finally got their way after days of asking Mom, can we go in the pool? Hey Mooooom can we go in the poooool?? No more just a few minutes from me but the reply they live for...Yeah, were gonna spend the day! I think I'm gonna teach em the banana dance, that can be their happy pool dance

Beezle2, that would be the best way to wait till your room is ready and if you wanted to talk around you can do that too. they are fun and you got a good one! Enjoy yourselves :sunny:

What is included in the price? Is the fridge stocked up or is this a stupid question? Never thought of booking one - but all your above comments are swaying me to!!

This may have changed, but when we were there, the price included for the regular cabanas - 6 sodas of your choice, 2 waters and a bowl of fruit.

The themed cabanas included double the drinks (so 12 sodas and 4 waters), the fruit bowl and floats - basically a large foam mat.

Inside the cabana there is a table and chairs,TV and a ceiling fan.

We rented #2 when we took the kids. It was so worth it. The 2 older kids left the park early to hang at the pool. We enjoyed it later in the day with the 2 younger kids and we also used it during dive in movie night. We had a perfect view of the screen but I believe the screen location has changed since our visit.

Like mentioned above, the waiter service was superb and our bar bill showed it!

Is there a map with the cabana locations on it? I'd like to rent one for our July trip.
