Cabanas at GF and CR

Hi all! I tried to do some searching but just wanted to double check since I know things aren't operating "normally" at the resorts at this time. I tried calling WDW but after an hour on hold I gave up.

I know there are (literally) a couple of cabanas at both hotels. We're doing a split stay this July and I'd like to try to nab one at either resort. Is this something I can attempt to book at 60 days out, like dining, or do they run on a different time table?

Cabanas are bookable starting at 7am eastern on your 60 day mark. Highly suggest calling right at 7 to skip the lengthy hold times. And I would prioritize booking ASAP as if you were trying to get the most coveted ADRs. Cabanas are very limited as a start, and right now you’re only able to book full days, not half, so availability is even more limited than usual, and more people are after them now due to panic over feature pool capacity limits and lines to get in. I managed to snag one at GF for Memorial Day on my ADR day but people are reporting difficulty in booking. Do it ASAP.

Given CR’s tower rooms will be closed in July for refurb, I suspect that will be the easier of the two (and generally speaking, the cabanas at CR aren’t as difficult to book to begin with).

Unless I’m mistaken, you will have two 60 day cabana booking windows for your split stay.

That is indeed the case. I suspect it’s what screwed me trying to get one at YC.

Ah ok. So I arrive at CR on 7/24 so I can attempt to book those 5/25. Then my GF stay begins 7/31 so I can attempt to book that beginning 6/1.

Is it going to work the same way with dining do you know or will I be able to do that for the length of my stay? Sorry so many questions. Just trying to get caught up on all the changes.

Cabanas are priced seasonally and IIRC are the same price as whatever GF and BC/YC happen to be. I paid around $318 for my GF cabana on Memorial Day.

Yes. ADRs will be length of EACH stay.
