Cabana...safe?

We are renting a cabana and I'm wondering how safe they are. I know there is a lock box for wallet, key card, phones...but, is it pretty safe to leave a beach bag with snacks and books and such out?

We didn’t have any issues the two times we have been there. We did put our big camera and stuff in the locked drawer, but left everything else out in the cabana and never worried.

Just thought I'd provide another user experience. Like Loveallthings mouse, we've had quite a few cabana stays and always felt comfortable leaving a bag with books, snacks, and other lesser valuables in the cabana. We only carried our room keys, so we mainly used the safe for phones and a camera. Have a great time. DD17 hasn't wanted to go to Aulani for our last two trips, so I must live vicariously through this board.
