cabana rental question

How far out can I make a cabana reservation? When I did this a few years ago, you could reserve 180 days out. I've read on another forum its 60 days out, post-covid. I waited on hold with Disney for 2 hours to make a reservation, and gave up because I'm 100 days out. I'll try again tomorrow if I'm within the window. I've looked everywhere and can't find a time period on Disney's website. Help!

60 days from date of your check in for the eligible booking.

We are staying at the YC for 14 days. Are reservations 60 +10 or will I be able to nab a reservation for one of our last days at the 60 day mark?

When I called about a cabana rental 2 weeks ago the CM told me it's 60 days from the date you want to book the cabana, not 60 days from check-in plus length of stay. I genuinely don't know if this is accurate or incorrect information from the CM, but this is what I was told recently.

I used the chat feature to ask this question and was told to call during the 60 day window for my resort, so I'm taking that to mean 60 + days of your stay. I'll be trying in a few days so I'll let you know if it's different than that.

I am also hoping to book a cabana for an upcoming stay and have bookmarked a number of posts here about the process. At least one (from April this year) refers to getting their first choice of dates, which was halfway through their trip. I imagine, like many things, this could depend on the CM who answers your call but I am planning to try 60 days from the start of my trip ... that's in ~ a week and I will likewise report back.

Just did a day in a BC cabana two weeks ago and was not allowed to book until 60 days from the actual booking day. I had called at the 60-day mark from the beginning of our trip and was told I needed to call back on the correct day, which was day 5 into our trip. BC cabana was wonderful.
