get on the ship early and get on the list. We have gotten one that way before and on our last cruise a few weeks back, the concierge host told us they took 3 from the waiting list.Im gonna go to Port Adventures, but, not holding mu breath about getting a cabana : (
Glad to hear this! We are going on our first Disney cruise on in Aug on the Dream. I'm glad we selected an early port arrival time. I'll have to make sure we get on the waiting list.get on the ship early and get on the list. Good Luck
Gritting my teeth now and need to vent...we are sailing concierge in October, and today at 12:01am was the 125 day mark when shoreside would start accepting requests. I put in an email with a delayed delivery so that I wouldn't have to worry about staying up and sending the email, but for some reason it didn't send! I've done delayed delivery before with no problem, so I had faith in it. Anyway, when I got up at 4am and saw that the email had not gone through, I copied the text and sent it manually. Hoping all the cabanas didn't get spoken for in that four hour window...
I guess the real point of this post is to have someone pat me on the shoulder and tell me "there, there...have a lollipop".
We sail concierge and one year I forgot to put my cabana request in at the 125 mark. I called 3 days later and still got the cabana I wanted on SB.Gritting my teeth now and need to vent...we are sailing concierge in October, and today at 12:01am was the 125 day mark when shoreside would start accepting requests. Update...I got my cabana, actually one of the lower number ones I specifically asked for. I was afraid it was going to be a race at midnight to see whose electrons were faster, but I guess that's reserved for non-concierge guests.
Yay! Congrats for you!!
That's what I figured.Book concierge, make friends with someone in concierge or with a Platinum cruise member, that is about it.
