Cab to airport time frame

We have always used ME. If you take a cab, how far before your flight do you generally leave? Wondering about shaving some time off the 3 hour ME trip (especially since our past several experiences have show that Orlando security is moving much better than it use to)
Thinking of booking a really early flight home and don't want to drag the kids out of bed at 4:30 am...LOL

I'd say you're still talking a good 2 hours -I wouldn't get there less than 1.5 hours prior to departure. But that's me.

MCO can be very busy, even very early in the morning. I would allow at least 2.5 hours.
