Cab service or bus for early breakfast ps?

I saw somewhere here that the early bus service was being discountinued. So how does one get to an early character meal? We will be coming from POR & heading to CRT one morning..would you suggest bus or cab? (Do they have cabs to take you from resort to mk?) thanks!

Can't answer your question about the early bus service. If Chip'nDaleExpress (WDW CM) doesn't reply, be sure to ask about it when you check in. AFAIK, early bus service is still occuring.

If you decide to take a cab, ask the cab driver to take you to the Contemporary and then to drop you off near the walking path to the MK. That's the closest you can get to the MK. If the cab takes you to the TTC, you'll have to take the ferry or monorail to the MK entrance. If it is too early for those to be running, you'd havd to take the resort monorail. Be sure to take you PS/ADR confirmation number along. IMHO, it's better to take the cab to the CR and walk than to deal with the ferry/monorail before the parks ar open.

I have read and heard that Disney is continuing the early buses so people can get to their breakfasts, tours, etc.
FYI there are taxis waiting outside all Disney resorts. Just go out the main door and you should see some. If you don't, just ask a CM and they will get one for you right away.
As the previous poster stated....the taxi would take you to the TTC so if you ever had to take a taxi to the MK get dropped off at the Contemporary and take the 10 minute walk to the MK entrance.
