Anyone know enough to give an estimate? With four of us it sounds like a shuttle would run us about $100 so i'm wondering now about how much a cab would run us? any thoughts?

I don't know about a regular cab, but we always use Tiffany Town car, which currently runs $95 round trip, and you can get a $5 off coupon on their website. That makes it $90 plus tip roundtrip.

This works out better than a cab because they meet you at the baggage claim, and help you with your bags.

The cab might be a little cheaper but not by much. The towncars are the best I think. They are waiting at baggage claim for you. And many offer a grocery stop if you want to grab some water and/or snacks.

I asked the front desk at the RPR this question recently and they said cab fare usually runs between $30-$40. I don't know if there would be any additional charges for four people.

This is what I'm finding too, which begs the question... why do people pay $50pp round trip with Mears if you can take a cab for $60-$80 RT and not have to wait on other people and stop by a bunch of resorts before you get to yours? I don't get it.

i'm with you, pugdog007!! that's part of what made me ask the question originally! i don't get...... but i know lots of people figure when on vaca, just do what's easy, cost regardless. wish i could do that too! thanks to all for the helpful tips!
