cab fare from MCO?

A friend is meeting us during our trip next week and wants to take a cab from the airport as she'll be in quite late. She asked me to find out what the approximate fare would be. Can anyone enlighten me?

Not sure what resort you are staying at put approx. $50 from CSR to MCO not including tip is what I paid.

$50 sounds reasonable. Wonder if anyone else knows for sure.

Cab rides are based on time. If you get stuck in traffic it would cost you more than the $50. It also would depend on the route they would take from POP to MCO.

POFQ to MCO was $45 with no traffic delays on 9/7.

The cab driver told us the avg was between 40 and 55 based on traffic.

She can get a town car from happy limo for 45 + tip(one way) 80 RT + tip

We usually do Happy Limo but took a cab once when we did a last minute trip change. It definitely cost more than the towncar. I also like a towncar because the price is set. Cab drivers can take a longer/more trafficky way and run up the bill. Ask if they will be taking 417...it's higher tolls but less traffic.

I took cabs from MCO to Beach Club twice last year. It was about $50 with tip each time.

If your friend doesn't want to book a towncar, she can take the Mears Shuttle for $17/person or $29 return. This would be a shared ride with a few stops along the way.

Booking a towncar or limo is a better deal with more than 3 people in your group.

While direct, a taxi is definitely the most expensive.
