Does anyone know what the average cab fare to the WDW parks from HBC is? We stayed there last weekend & loved the resort. The transportation was a different story. I would only stay there again, if I took a cab to the parks, esp. in the evening. When pricing out resorts, I'd need to know the average cab fare to see which is a better deal. We would take the provided transportation from WDW resorts. TIA for the help. :)

We stayed at Hilton Bonnet Creek last year and I took a taxi from AK back to Bonnet Creek and it was $14 not including tip. I also took a taxi to DTD one day and it was $14 to get there because it was by a town car, not a taxi. The return trip, via taxi, was $9. Hope this helps!

Thanks, that's a lot of help. :) It's less than I expected. I was thinking it would be a minimum of $40 RT. I can't find any of those great $86 rates people have been talking about. $137/night is still a very good rate, if we only need to add parking & $40- for cab fare.

Is Hilton Bonnet Creek the same as Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort.

No. Hilton Bonnet Creek is a hotel. The Wyndham is time share. They are on the same property though. The Wyndham is the first area when you drive in. As you continue up the road, the Hilton is next and then the Waldorf Astoria.

As stated above HBC only used towncar cabs from their hotel...$40 round trip would be a good guess to most, MK might be a bit more. One thing I've done in the past is if you aren't in an ultra big hurry, hang around outside for a few minutes and usually a good old yellow will pull up to drop someone off and you can hop in. Works just about every time...

That's good to know. I didn't even notice they only had town cars waiting. We'll definitely wait around for a regular cab. You'd think the hotel would offer both. They probably get a bigger kickback from the town cars.
