Cab fare-Boardwalk-MCO

Hi. We are possibly planning a last minute trip for next weekend and I need to desperately find a way to cut costs to justify my whimsy. We typically take a town car but plan to arrive very late and stay at an airport hotel the first night. We will then move to Boardwalk the following morning. Our return flight with be very, very early and our experience with town cars is they really hate that.

Anyone have an idea how much a cab ride will set us back?

I stayed at Sheraton Suites. They got me a cab for $40 (plus tip) flat rate to the Dolphin. I was considering taking the free shuttle back to the airport and taking Mears but I didn't want the hastle.
I don't think a towncar would have been much more but I wasn't sure of my schedule.

Thanks for the information. I never thought about a flat rate. Do you think that is common at the Orlando area hotels?

Ask, I suspect most of the airport hotels have a favorite taxi compnay that'll get you a flat rate.
