Do you get the AAA discounts as a AMA/CAA member? Do you have to book through AAA to get the discounts or dose Disney take it themselves or through another TA?

Just booked for February through Disney with CAA rates of 20% off Pop Century.

This week we rebooked our MYW package plus dining (which we booked by phone with Disney) through CAA. I just called a TA at our local CAA office and asked for her to get us a quote on the package and it was $215 cheaper for the same resort (CSR) and with the dining. If you are just booking a room only you can book through disney directly, but if it is a package including the dining you must book with a TA from CAA to get the discount.

Happy planning!!

I would book with CAA. That is what I did here in NB. I got an excellent price.

Matsterrocks: Yes, you book with CAA not AAA - they just give you the AAA rate.

I didn't even have CAA, but the discount was so good that I purchased my CAA membership over the internet (it's cheaper that way), and then made the call to our local CAA office and booked the package with my new membership number.

If your booking a room only, call dinsey direct. The discount verys depending on the season. I booked for August 2006 and got 15% of the value resorts. However keep looking for Disney codes becuase they will still be cheaper if they come out then what you can get using CAA. Yes if you have already booked your room when the codes come out if you call disney they will give you the better rate.
