Hi,

I have read threads on discounts through CAA. Do you have to book through a CAA travel agent or can you book through Disney to get this discount? Is it a guaranteed discount or are there a certain number of rooms available for this discount?

Thanks :flower:

I booked a room through CRO with the CAA rate. You will need your number, though. :)

I just booked through Disney directly and got a CAA discount and they didn't ask for my number but told me to make sure I have it when I check in,

Thanks for the info! I can probably just order my tickets through Disney when I book the room. :flower:

Thanks again! :wizard:

Could anyone tell me if I can book a CAA rate through CRO or through CAA and get the room discount with the tickets and dining plan? I tell you this gets so confusing.

Rebecca

I don't think you can. It is either rack rate for room with the ticket and meal option or discount rate on room and everything else seperate.

has anyone used the dining plan. Am still trying to convince husband it is worth looking at :confused3 . If anyone has used it and found it worth while i would be interested. Also I read they expanded the restaurants you can go to?

You can book a CAA discounted package BUT you have to do that through the CAA office not through CRO. The discount applies to the room, and you pay the same for tickets and dining portion.

For room only CAA discounted rooms, you can book through CRO.

Booked through Disney and got the AP rate then went to CAA for my tickets.

Hi
I had a room on hold for the end of July with my CAA rate, but when I decided to add the dining package, I had to go to my CAA travel agency and book it. It saved around $200 Canadian by booking with the rate (the rate for room only was the same, but once we wanted the dining they give you the basic Disney rate and then add the dining package.
Read the DIS Dining reports if you want to know more about the dining. If you eat at least one sit down meal a day &/or you like to do a couple of character dining things, I'd seriously look into the package. It will save us a bundle!
I have a PS sit down booked every day of our trip! :cool1:
