CA Screamin Rumors?

I have heard no CA Screamin until 2007??? I was hoping it would be open by the Holiday Season this year! Disney website shows it closed at least through November. What's the deal?

I haven't heard the results of the investigation yet. I imagine it is impossible to give an opening date yet.

I just talked to guest relations the other day and I was told that they just don't know yet. The lady I spoke with said it certainly could be open by Halloween (which is when my family is going) but it also may not be. After an accident happens, they have to close the ride indefinitely, pending the results of a thorough ivestigation. That thorough investigation may take a few weeks, a few months, or a few years. Nobody knows.

I believe that BTMRR was closed for about a year after the guest was killed on it a couple of years ago. Since there was not a death, I would hope that it would not be that long. It will all depend on what failed on the ride and how soon they can fix it.

It all depends on what OSHA determines needs to be done to fix the problem. Once the reports are complete, which could be several more weeks. Disney will get a list of things to complete before OSHA will release the ride to the park for riders.

There is NO WAY to tell yet, when to expect the ride to be reopened. It could be something very small and it could be open by Labor Day or it could be something BIG and it won't open until 2007. But no one can say at this time.
