just randomly checked the app. 120 mins for CA Screamin'?! Is that even possible? I have never seen it close to that!

I noticed that too! I wounder if it is because it is Columbus Day weekend? We don't get it off here in NV, but maybe other areas do?

We are here now, it has been extremely busy this weekend. I think it’s a combination of “gay days” and Columbus Day weekend.

Maxpass has been a lifesaver for us.

Some of the highlights are running at 130 min wait times consistently.

Today was PACKED. My family walked on to Screamin' about 9 am but by the time we left at 11:30 both parks were zoos.

I am so glad I went yesterday. My family commented on how low the crowds were for a Saturday, especially when some people had a 3 day weekend plus there was a special event. I think the heat kept most people away until today. I've only seen wait times for Screamin' that high one other time. Wow!

Was there today and it was packed. Here for work and grateful I'll have Wednesday to go back to the parks. Hoping for lighter crowds.

Man, you just never know what you’re going to get! The “holiday” weekend as well as the So Cal APs not being blocked, maybe that contributed to it.

Leaving DCA at 1:30 this afternoon, I couldn't believe the lines to get in to Disneyland when I looked in that direction! They were way out into the esplanade. I heard a man on the bus mention that in addition to gay days, Arizona has their fall break which started this weekend. It was crazy !

Oh snap....yep. I unknowingly came last October during the school fall breaks that I didn’t realize so many other states took (Arizona, Utah and Hawaii, I believe). It was a madhouse!

For banks and postal services, etc. I think some schools still take it, although our district hasn’t for quite a few years now.
Most So Cal schools don't have it off. The first time I ever had Columbus Day off was when I was in college in New York.

WHAT?!! Wow. Yeah, Columbus Day isn't a commonly observed holiday out here in CA (unless you work at the post office or a bank). I just checked & indeed LAUSD doesn't have it off. Those crowds with locals being in-school? Ouch!

Our So Cal (Orange County) district has Columbus Day as a non student day. It's a teacher in service day.

Yep. I hate to break it to anyone who’s there this week, but it’s going to be crazy this week. This week, last year, touring plans had some days during the week as “10s”. They seem ill prepared for the crowds then, so hopefully they are anticipating the high crowds and staff accordingly.

Yeah, I was just about to say that it is Fall Break for us here in Arizona. I know a lot people who go to Disneyland over the break. And this year they are giving us a couple more days so they are actually getting like a week and a half off. I am pretty sure fall break is helping to make the crowds big!

We're coming this week, along with half of Arizona. I just splurged on Maxpass and we're going to make the most of it! I'm still hoping mid-week isn't as bad as today though. The times on the app were awful.
