CA Grill length of dinner and fireworks?

I was able to get a reservation for CA Grill at 6pm and the fireworks are at 9pm. When I made the reservation the CM said we could come back up for the fireworks if we finish dinner early - I just want to make sure that info is correct?

About how long does dinner last here?

Yes, if you finish dinner before Wishes, you will be permitted to return and watch the fireworks from the observation deck.

When we went to CG, our server had no problem pacing the meal over the 2.5 hours from seating to Wishes.

With appetizers, drinks, dessert, etc our meals usually take around 2 hours. A lot depends on how busy it is when you arrive. We usually eat at 8, so the place is a madhouse and service that much slower.

I should note that one reason for the crowds at CG is that folks arrive when they open, then plant themselves at the table, nursing iced tea and water for hours waiting on the fireworks.

Many times people do really like to hang around, which is what causes wait times.

There is no problem coming back to the watch the fireworks and it is recommended, just return to the 2nd floor where you came up the first time!

Thanks for the replies - I figure if we finish early we can go through the shops and then come back up - plus then they can seat someone else that much earlier
