I was finally able to book an ADR for CA Grill at 9:40pm. Wishes is at 10:00pm that night.

2 questions:
1. Will we get seated in time to enjoy the fireworks from the restaurant--which is my whole purpose in going?
2. Is it ok to just go for dessert? We actually have a dinner ressie around 5:30pm at a place where my son will enjoy the food more so I was thinking we'd eat dinner there and then go to CA grill for dessert. Is this ok?

Thanks!

I would say that with that reservation time you won't be seated before the fireworks (most of the tables don't have firework views anyway - or at least not great ones. You will be able to use the observation deck to watch the fireworks (views are better there than most tables anyway). We were seated at one of the 4 window tables with an MK view in early June and no one finished there meal within an hour of the fireworks let alone closer to that. If they were close to finishing they lingered over dessert, coffee, or drinks before enjoying the fireworks - we also did this as the fireworks started at 10 and we were getting our desserts around 9:15 and stayed through- our waiter expected us too as well.

That's sort of what I was wondering...even if we haven't yet been seated, will we be able to view the fireworks. I don't want to miss them!

After the fireworks, if it is painfully slow getting your table, you could grab some seats at the bar to enjoy your dessert. Just let the host/hostess know.
