We are in the San Diego area and have owned DVC since 1998. We've gone to HHI, and WDW. Last year I took 3 trips to WDW. We also use points at DLR occassionaly. I love the GCH and can't wait until they open up the Villas for sale!

One year I held AP's for both parks, WDW and DLR. Currently it's just DLR.

congrats on your new purchase and welcome home! We use our pts to also stay at the Grandcalifornian at DL. We have 400 pts and never hesitate to use them there. We get to WDW every 2 years or so.

We love to go on the DCL but don't use our pts to sail. I say save up for the airfare and bank some of your points if you can manage to go this year and use some of the points to stay at the GC at DL.

I'm looking forward to the GC Villas to go on sale in that I like WDW but I've always loved Disneyland.

Southwest is still pretty reasonable, sign up for DING fares for your area. We just paid $200 ea round trip, not bad from Sacramento to Orlando.

Someone else from the Inland Empire chiming in. We bought DVC last April and spent a week last September at an AKV studio (great) and 1 day at SSR post DCL cruise in December. Two trips planned for this year, a week in September at BWV (can't wait ) and 1 week in November, split stay between Vero Beach and SSR. Throw in a smattering of stays at DLH or GCH. Gotta love the DVC

If you haven't seen the ship yet, i suggest you go to Long Beach this summer and dine at any oceanview restaurants so you can see the Magic when it pass by. I'm sure it'll give you goosebumps when you see the Magic it is so beautiful!

Get to DL at least once a month and stay at the Grand Calif. once or twice a year. We get to WDW every other year. Next trip: this June for 10 days! Can't wait.

Los Angeles resident (Santa Clarita) here. We own at SSR and get out to FL about every 9 months. we also use our points to hop down to DL for a night a few times a year. I love my DVC and am hoping to add on more at some point during this next year.

Southern California (Long Beach) resident on the ROFR list hoping to have my points in time to book a week in June 2009!

Question for all my fellow west coasters-do any of you own an Owner's Locker? I was thinking it makes perfect sense for someone who lives east of the Rocky Mountains (and makes more than one trip a year), but wasn't sure if it would make sense for someone like me (who would only go once a year or every other year)...

Hey Longhairbear, my kids and I have been on spring break (I know it was scheduled at a weird time) We went to DL on Wed. What a great day. No lines. We think it was because everyone thought it was going to rain. It was a glorious day! We will at OKW form June 17 to June 26. When are you going? Agoura Hills? I have a close collage friend that live in Agoura Hills. Not too far from us.

We're from Redlands - close to SandyCA! We just got back from our first trip to WDW as DVCers. We stayed at OKW and thought it was beautiful. We're going back in November to stay at our "home" resort. I wish we had been able to get in on DVC sooner - but I guess better late than never!
