I live in Oregon and have four trips planned for 2008.
I figure once I'm on the plane (we now have a direct flight) what difference does 5 instead of 2 hours make. The time difference is the only bad thing.
It's still worth it, though.

I'd love to hear some of the "adult" activities Disney offers. My kids are 3 and 8 and they still love Disney. But we want to enjoy this for a few decades, not just another 5 years.
We're from Northern CA and have owned for 3 years. The first year we went to SSR, but last year we stayed at the Grand Californian. We had such a great time last year, we're going next week to celebrate my daughter's 16th! In may, we'll be back for a High School Jazz Band workshop. This Thanksgiving, we're celebrating our 25th on the Disney Cruise!! but with cash, rather than points. I guess we're really going to have a Disney year!
Just curious where in northern CA are you from, if you don't mind me asking. We live in redding and also own at SSR.
We live in the Bay Area and have been owners for only a couple of years. We love our points, but we need more. We can't wait for the Grand Californian Villas to go on sale, just so we won't have to fly so far, but we love
Walt Disney World and all of the great parks. We are looking for airfare for this year and so far, we are looking at $800/person...yikes. I hope there is a sale soon!
Once you buy your first points, you will have addonitis sooner than you think! Good luck!
