W1D2 is in the books. Not that it was any harder than day 1, lol. What was difficult, however, was waking up with a headache, and how to handle it. I ended up eating a granola bar, then taking an Excedrine Migraine. It was either going to be an upset stomache from running with the medicine, or an even worse headache from the pounding while running. In the end, it was a good choice.
I went to yoga yesterday, and I noticed a marked improvement in my running stride today. I even shaved a full minute off my mile - I went a 20 min mile instead of 21. I can walk an 18 min mile, so I have some making up to do. It kills me to see all of these elderly people passing me when they are walking. That's my biggest goal - to be able to keep pace with the 60 year olds
What amazes me the most is how
good I feel afterwards...I haven't had this much energy in ages. I almost can't wait the 2 days between runs.
