C-pap water? Bottled water?

Water question…My DH uses a c-pap machine. Are they still providing distilled water (like pre- covid)? I found an old post from a few years ago with a form to fill out but didn’t know how accurate it is? It would be great if we don’t have to carry a gallon on!
…also is Dasani the only water bottle 6 pack brand they offer? Do they still offer Evian? Thanks!
(On the Magic next month)

go to the special services link on disney cruiseline and fill out the form to request distilled water.
I uploaded my form for my cruise in 10 days and then a week later called special services to verify
that they received my request. I have done this several times and the gallon jug was waiting
in our cabin when we arrived no extra charge.

Are you not allowed to bring distilled water? I have pre-packaged 12oz bottles that I use for traveling to Disney with a cpap and they work out great.

Sure, you can bring your own water. The bottles have to be unopened and I think you have to keep them with you as you board, though.

I also have the 12oz bottles that I use for shorter trips. Last month I packed 3 bottles in checked luggage and I carried one bottle thru security in its own bag marked medical water. It was put thru a special liquid scanner sealed but it was cleared. For a 7 night cruise its better to just have DCL supply the gallon jug for free. I've done it several times.

You can. You have to keep then on your carryon baggage, DCL does not allow them in your checked bags.

However, you may find it easier to just have DCL provide the gallon jug. Less weight to carry :-)

Where do you get 12oz bottles of distilled water? That would be so useful.

Why lug it on when you can get it from DCL once onboard. We just sailed at the end of September on the Dream and my husband uses a C-pap.....we just called guest services and within an hour they delivered a gallon of distilled water to our cabin. Have done this on our last several cruises.

I agree, why carry it when they supply it. I have forgotten to request it a time or two before boarding and told our stateroom host. They have always said not a problem, they keep plenty onboard.

I use a cpap too and my understanding is that if you can't get distilled for a few weeks it really won't damage your machine to use tap water. We are going to Scotland next year and that's what I'm planning on doing.

Well, I decided to try your method and I went to the DCL page to find the request form for the water, so that's done. Thank you, I appreciate that and didn't even know you could do that. :)
After the cruise is over, can you pour the remaining down the drain when you're packing everything up before disembarking?

Yes, it is just water, though highly purified. We use any extra that last morning to use for things like a final rinse of our toothbrushes before packing them away, and any remaining goes down the bathroom sink. We put the empty container over with the recylables at the room trash bin.

FYI, when traveling by air I bring enough distilled water with me for the travel part in case our flight is delayed overnight in our connecting city or rerouted. Your 12 oz or similar containers are good for that. Then at my destination I buy however much distilled water I need [assuming it is available, otherwise I have to haul it all from home]. At WDW resort hotels they will carry it in the hotel store - you may have to ask a CM as they often don't have it out on the shelf but keep it in the back; the cost is reasonable. As you discovered, DCL will supply a jug for free.

Do you recall how much they charged you for this?

No charge. We just did it again last week on the Magic. After we boarded I sent a chat text to Guest Services on the app. They took care of it and it was waiting in our cabin when our room was ready at 3:00 pm.

I also sent a chat text to dining services and requested Palo Brunch which I could not get before the cruise. They got right back to me with a 10:00 am reservation on our Nassau Day. I only add this because everything has to be done on the app and in case someone didn't get a brunch before they could inquire once onboard.

Can confirm. I filled out the request form at the 30-day mark after check in and a gallon of Zephyrhills distilled water was in my stateroom when I arrived to it. The bottled water was Dasani, I don't recall being given an option for Evian when I bought the bottled water package.

My sister and I both use C-pap machines. Will Disney provide an extension cord? I don't think there are a lot of electrical outlets and one of us will be sleeping on the sofa bed.
